The global economy has been hit by the greatest economic crisis since the 1930s and many millions of people across the world are paying dearly for the failure of capitalism.

As a result of this dogma, the fruits of the Celtic Tiger boom were squandered. Instead of investing in schools, hospitals, social care services and other basic infrastructure, the state looked after their rich friends.
