People Before Profit National Meeting Cassidys Hotel Parnell Square Dublin Sunday 14th October 1PM to 5PM Registration will be begin in the hotel at 12.30
The People Before Profit Alliance will hold a National Meeting for all members and branches (details listed above) to organise for the challenges facing us over the coming year. The austerity that the government intends imposing on the people of Ireland will be its most severe to date. In every area, in every community and workplace there are vicious attacks being launched on our living standards. We want to be able to meet these challenges and to build a wide response from those groups and workers who want to fight back. The meeting will focus on crisis and how we can best organise to resist the cuts imposed as a result of the bank bail out and Troika dictats. The Steering Group of PBPA are proposing the following agenda. |

There is now just a week to go in this crucial election campaign. We have a real chance to win this election for the ULA, causing a major shock and really putting the ULA on the map. We are appealing to all PBPA members and supporters to do everything you can to help out in the next week. If you do not feel confident canvassing there is plenty of leafleting to be done. Arrangements for the next week are as follows: Meet at the Bell Pub, at 6:45 for evening work. Meet at the Bell Pub this Saturday at 11am for leafleting afterwards at 1pm there is a hospital protest and a rally later. More details to follow on this. Please contact Dermot Connolly at 087 7675691 if you require more info. Richard Boyd Barrett TD and Joan Collins TD, People Before Profit Alliance. |

Hi, Please support |

Hi, Urgent reminder: Enough! Protest: Stop the IMF Cuts to Jobs & Services- Tomorrow, 16th July, 2pm, Parnell Sq Dublin 1 Please support |
|||
The IMF arrive in town tomorrow - We have to say Enough is Enough - Kick the IMF Out! Protest Wed 1pm at Department of Finance on Merrion Street. Meeting Wed 7.30pm Gresham Hotel - The EU/IMF deal is destroying the country. Many voted for the Fine Gael Labour Government in the hope they would make the changes they promised to the deal. Instead it has been more of the same. Everything that is happening, whether it is cuts to Special Needs in schools, closures of Hospitals or pouring more money into the banks, is happening because the IMF say so. We need to call a halt to his madness now and look for a sane way out of the crisis by burning the bondholders and speculators who got us into this situation and taxing the super-rich who benefitted. To do this we need People Power. The Enough Campaign has called for 10 days of protests while the IMF are in town. Join the protests, get involved in the Enough Campaign www.enoughcampaign.org |

People Before Profit Holiday Newsletter Everyone will take a break from politics over the next ten days. We had a few weeks of intensive political activity and debate. The government pushed through the budget, the IMF deal and have delayed the elections, which are now most likely to take place on March 11th but it could come earlier or be pushed back till later again. In the New Year we want to get organised early for the elections and for further attacks on our living standards. Most people, particularly those hit in the budget, will really feel the pinch in January and February. People Before Profit Alliance is gearing up. We want to run candidates in as many constituencies as possible. So far we have agreed to run in the following areas
